Friendsgiving Tea Party Nominate A Friend and WIN

By participating in the Writing Contest, you hereby grant Erica Powers the right to use, reproduce, and distribute the stories and/or photos submitted by you, collectively referred to as “Content,” for promotional purposes on various platforms including, but not limited to, social media, marketing newsletters, and advertisements. You acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Grant of Rights: You grant Erica Powers a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the Content in connection with the promotion and marketing of the Contest.
2. Use in Marketing Materials: The Content may be used in marketing materials, including but not limited to newsletters, advertisements, promotional materials, and on Erica Powers’ official social media accounts.
3. Attribution: Erica Powers may, but is not obligated to, provide attribution to you when using the Content. However, you understand and agree that such attribution is at the sole discretion of Erica Powers.
4. No Compensation: You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation, monetary or otherwise, for the use of the Content as described in these terms.
5. Release and Waiver: You release and discharge Erica Powers, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that you may have now or in the future for defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, copyright infringement, or any other cause of action arising out of the use, reproduction, or distribution of the Content.
6. Original Work: You represent and warrant that the Content you submit is your original work and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. You further represent that you have obtained any necessary permissions or releases for individuals featured in photographs.
7. Disqualification for Violation: Erica Powers reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these media release terms.

By submitting your entry to the Contest, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these media release terms.

1. Eligibility: The “Nominate a Friend” Contest is open to all participants who wish to nominate a friend or loved one for a chance to win a special Friendsgiving tea party ticket. Both the nominator (participant) and the nominee must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the contest rules.

2. Submission Period: The contest submission period begins on 11/12/23 and ends on 11/15/23 at 11:59 pm CST. All nominations must be submitted within this timeframe to be considered for the contest.

3. How to Enter: To nominate a friend, follow these simple steps:

• Step 1: Write a heartwarming story or a brief essay explaining why your friend or loved one deserves a special Friendsgiving celebration at our tea party.
• Step 2: Include specific details about your friend’s qualities, actions, or experiences that make them deserving of this special recognition.
• Step 3: Submit your nomination via the method below by 11/15/23 at 11:59 pm CST. Ensure your entry includes your full name, contact information, and the name of your nominee.

4. Submission Method:

• Complete the form below OR Email your nomination to info@theEricaPowers.com with the subject line “Nominate a Friend Contest Entry.”
• Include your contact information (full name, phone number) and the nominee’s name.

5. Evaluation and Selection:

• Submissions will be evaluated based on the heartwarming and impactful nature of the nomination.
• The most compelling entry, showcasing the nominee’s deserving qualities, will be selected as the winner.

6. Prize:

• The participant (nominator) of the winning nomination will receive a ticket to our Friendsgiving tea party.
• The nominee mentioned in the winning entry will also receive a complimentary ticket to join the celebration.

7. Winner Announcement:

• The winner will be notified via email or phone on 11/16/23.
• The winning nomination will be shared on our social media platforms, with the consent of the winner.

8. Terms and Conditions:

• All entries must adhere to the submission guidelines outlined in these instructions.
• The decision of the judges is final.
